The festival kicked off with an intimate event titled Cobblestone Melodies, held near the Archaeological Museum. Serenade performers serenaded the crowd, filling the air with heartfelt melodies. This opening night captured the soul of Korça’s serenade tradition in an up-close, emotional setting, allowing attendees to experience the music in its purest form.

SERENADES UNDER THE STARS

Following the opening event, the festival continued at the Old Bazaar Square, where both local and international artists performed in a lively concert. The second night saw the festival return to the square for a grand celebration of Korça’s musical heritage. The historic square became a vibrant stage, allowing serenades to once again take center stage.
Preserving the Legacy

CAPTURING KORÇA’S SERENADES

In an effort to ensure the preservation of this cherished cultural heritage, the festival recorded the performances and immortalized them on a special CD, allowing future generations to enjoy and appreciate the magic of Korça Serenades. This effort not only revived the tradition but ensured its continuation as a key part of Korça’s identity.
